Our Prayer

Lord, help us to PLAN, PREPARE, & PLANT what you would have us to. Help us to WEED out of our lives what should not be there. Lord, help us to grow through you in our relationships, our attitudes, and our lives, always being in your will. Help us to always walk with you. Let us always be thankful and content. Amen.

Friends & Fun

A couple of weeks ago we were blessed by some
good friends that invited us to go to Florida with them.
We stayed 3 nights in Orlando and then 3 nights in Daytona!
I wish I had took pictures of the inside of these condos.
They were beautiful.

Do you remember our friends Bruce & Gayle that
were married a few months ago?
They invited us on this trip and paid for it!
What a blessing!

They had invited us to go to Disney but we didn't think that
"Sweet Hunter" could walk like that with his back.
So we chose to relax by the pool while they went to Universal.
They had gave us tickets to go to Sea World so the last day we
went there.

We thought that this was just a show and there wouldn't
be a lot of walking but you still have to walk.
It was beautiful there.

We had the best time watching this show!

Remember the whale that pulled that girl down by her pony tail
and she drowned?
This is the show that she worked at and loved.
They don't get in the water with them anymore.

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this show.
It was worth the walk.

It amazed me that the trainers could make them do whatever they wanted.

As we were walking back I took a few pictures of random things.
I thought this was so pretty.

There was lots of water and lots of flowers.
I posted on some of the pictures in my last post.

I have never really liked pink flamingos. You know, the kinds that
are in peoples yards?  But I liked these!!!
We had so much fun with our friends even though we all did our own thing!

TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR.........
friends who share!

A friend loveth at all times........
Proverbs 17:17

Coming Soon....Part 2 of our trip.

Loved your 'special trip' and with such wonderful 'friends'...how fortunate are you to have been so blessed.
Orlando is fun but oh yes, lots of walking no matter what you do there.
Sea World was one of our favorite places the times we were there.
Actually there were two of our friends from here where we live - one girl I worked with, one young man our sons went to school with - were both in the Water Ski show at Sea World for about 4 years straight. That was fun because we got to see them perform.
The Condo's do look wonderful.

Val, So glad you got to get away and with such great friends. Loved Sea World when we visited years ago. Hoping to go to Disney when Darbee Rae is just a tad bit older. Have been 3 times but I was younger then . Now it would be hard for me to do all the walking with my back and hip. But to see Darbee at the Magic Kingdom would give it a try. Can't wait for part 2. Have a great day.

I need to get to know friends like that! lol How wonderful that they offered such a trip and paid for it, that's what I call very giving friends who love you very much:-) It does sound like you all had a fun time and I would have enjoyed Sea World as well...as you say, it's amazing that they can train such huge mammals as whales!! Loved all of your pictures. xoxo

We went to Sea World about 10 years ago and I was selected out of the audience to feed one of the whales. It was really cool and my boys were very proud of their mom's 5 seconds of fame :)

Then I was brought down to earth when we were doused by one of the whales at the end of the show. I looked like a drowned rat for the rest of the day.
