Tomorrow Is The Day

Tomorrow is the day that I plan to get really serious about losing some weight. Last week Sherry & I agreed to account to each other about changes in our life style. I love blogging buddies!! I want to lose a little weight and get healthier. I don't believe in diets because I see so many people diet and then put the weight back on, plus more. Don't we all go through this at least one time a year? Tomorrow is the day! Sherry & I decided that we were going to try to walk 3 times a week and drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. Every time that I try to do something like this, something hinders me from really getting started. So this is the week that I am really getting serious & I really mean it. Thanks Sherry for your encouragement and friendship.

Tomorrow is the day......................

right after today.......................

right after I eat these!!!!!

Yummy. I had these and a cold coke. These are called "Spreads". I got the recipe from
The Pioneer Woman! Imagine that!!! Visit her web site to get step by step directions. This is such an easy & delicious recipe. I have never fixed anything that she cooks that is not wonderful! Here is her recipe for these cookies:
Spreads
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 to 8 ounces chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together brown sugar and margarine. Add egg and mix together. Add flour, salt, and vanilla, and mix together well.Spread dough onto cookie sheet to a thickness of 1/4 to 1/2-inch. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until slightly brown.Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top. Return to oven for 1 minute.Remove and spread melted chips over the top.Cut into squares.
I promise that tomorrow is really the day!!!!
Wanna join us? All you have to do is try to drink 6 glasses of water a day and walk 3 times a week for at least 20 minutes. We will be adding things along the way.

I will try to join you! I did not see anything about staying off chocolate next week! Thanks! LOL
The water I can do with no problem, I will have to force myself to get the walking in, but I will try hard! Thanks for the inspiration!

My good friend and I just got together on Wed to do the same thinge. We email each other every night to recount the day's intake, exercise, and any feelings in regards to our health/weight. It's great. I feel accountable and I will see the 15 lbs away! Good Luck!

They say the best way to diet is to buy those new teas that are flavored ... chocolate is one ... that not are not fattening but help curb the appetite & cravings.

I love the new way to loose weight ... computer image yourself to the body you want, paste it all over the house ... whether it works or not I don't know, but there is a chuckle in there somewhere.

Good for you!!!! I started today. I can't walk, [need foot surgery] so I rode my recumbent exercise bike for 25 minutes - that's 10 minutes longer than last time! Also, does the water in my coffee count? Or tea? LOL, I hate plain water.
One thing that has REALLY helped me - eat breakfast. My stomach doesn't wake up and bother me for about 3 hours after I get up, so this is a tough one for me. But if I'm faithful to at least have a bowl of Cheerios, the weight comes off much quicker.

Good for you, Val. Somehow those yummy tastes and a Coke sound so much better. Hmmm. I'll join you in the water as I really need to make myself drink more of that and less coffee and Coke. Sigh! I do NOT like water, but I can do this. 6???? Okay!!!!

I am also inspired! I think about it daily but there always seems to be something that needs attention more..like work! But, you all are right - we need an accountability partner. Go for it Val, and we will follow your lead! Thanks for the encouragement!
