A Thank You Video From Granny

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE GIVE AWAY.......after you watch this sweet video of Granny talking to you (see below), go to my post titled- GRANNY BIRTHDAY QUILT GIVE AWAY. It is dated Tues Sept. 29th and closes Oct. 23rd.
Thank you to Michelle H. for buying 2 of Granny's Quilts. This is a picture of Granny when she was reading your sweet note. She was so thrilled! Your quilts will be on the way this week!
Also thank you to a special friend (like a daughter) Shannon C. for buying a quilt too. I hope you enjoy it. Also, another thank you to Kim M. for buying a quilt. You can pick one out on the sidebar and let me know which one you would like. I have numbered them to make it easier.
This Video is from Granny to all of you!

This is to all of you bloggers & friends who have bought or are thinking of buying a quilt from Granny. I asked her if she would like to thank everyone and she said yes. I am sorry that my southern voice is so loud but Granny doesn't hear well and I wanted her to tell you about some different things that we had already talked about. She is so blessed everytime I come in and tell her that I have sold a quilt. As you notice in the video she says something like she could not find "no buying"- that means she hasn't sold many quilts before all of you started buying and she is thanking everyone. I have talked her into making some baby quilts after she gets through with the next 2 big quilts. They are precious. I am adding her quilts that are for sale to my side bar. She has about 20 more that are already made up and I hope many more to come. Thank you for loving my Granny by buying her quilts. You have truly blessed her. I hope you enjoyed the video.

P.S. I have had many many emails about Granny's birthday. She will be 96 years old on Oct. 24. If you would like to send her a birthday card when it gets closer to that date- You can send it to:

This is the sweetest video!! I love it!! I received some good news from my mom (Valerie) today. I get to pick out a quilt from Granny as a gift from my mother. My children all have one but I don't have a quilt for myself. I am so excited!! I will have to hurry to Granny's to pick it out before they are all gone. Thanks to all of you that have purchased a quilt. Her reaction is priceless!! Shannon

What a lovely video of Granny. She is just the sweetest thing. :-)
I can't wait to see the baby quilts. I'm certain they'll be just as comfy as her fuller quilts.

I am the unfortunate one as my computer is telling me that the "video is unavailable at this time."

Granny is such a sweet woman.

Hi Valerie,
I am a friend of Kim Morris in Ohio. She turned me on to this site and it is awesome. I am interested in buying 2 quilts. My sister recently lost her husband in a motorcycle accident. He was early 50's, so I want one for her b/c I think it would make her feel special and give her some peace. Thanks!

I was just surfing and find Granny. What a remarkable lady. Everything I saw on your blog made me want to find out more about her. I went back a ways and saw some of her simple but beautiful quilts. Her verse is also the one I try to live. I knew the verse (my mama would quote scripture) long before I knew where it was. It being 4:13 made it seem as though God was speaking to me as that is my birthday. This year has been one that I needed that little nugget of truth more than usual. I lost my eldest daughter, Amourina, 4/22/10, just a week before her 33rd birthday. Am sure she is with Jesus too. Amy had an old soul and most of her friends were 60+. She and Granny would have been friends here had they meet. They both didn't like wasting time and touched many more lives than they ever knew. Thank you for sharing your Granny with all of us out here in blogland.
