I realize that I have posted this before but making your own laundry detergent is so worth it!
1 Cup grated bar soap ( I use Ivory soap) 1/2 Cup borax 1/2 Cup Washing soda Water
Grate 1 cup of bar soap
Add soap to 1-1/2 quarts of water along with your borax and washing soda and heat until soap has dissolved. This doesn't take long at all.
I used to buy this big bucket of laundry detergent at Sam's Wholesale so I use this old bucket to make and store my detergent in.
Put 8 qts. of cold water in the bucket or a big container.
Add your hot mixture to the bucket of water and let cool. The mixture will thicken very quickly. Once it thickens then you can pour in to other containers if you want to. You can also add fragrance if you desire. Use 1/4 cup per load. I am all for saving money! Try it! You might like it! And I am joining Allie with Christmas Through The Year because I am giving all of my children a gift of this laundry detergent for Christmas!!

Look at all this stuff!!!
I was on facebook the other night and saw where
a friend of mine got a great deal with her coupons.
The total costs of all her items was over $500.00 and she only paid approx.
90 dollars for her purchases.
I commented on her good deal and the next day
I had this waiting at my door when I got home!
Is this a good friend or what????
