A Rose

My Mother  sent this picture to me and my sisters for Mother's Day.
This beautiful rose is out of her flower garden.

I began thinking of how I could give back something
that meant as much to her
as that rose meant to me.
I realized that I could not give back more than she has give to me in life.

Then I saw this rose garden as I was riding down the highway.
But when I saw this garden I thought of all that this represents.
So Mom, I just wanted you to know that you have given me much more than one single rose.
You gave me a rose garden.

A mother blesses her children,

Caring for them,
Tending them,
Nurturing them,
Watching them,
Like roses in her garden.

HAPPY MOTHER''S DAY MOM!

Today I am thankful for......my Mother!

Special Weekend

My Mothers day weekend started with dinner out on Friday night with my oldest daughter Shannon and her family. They had been at the ball field. Bryan (SIL) is so good to either coach or help all of them play ball. Can you imagine having 3 playing ball? I don't know how they keep up with it all. Brother is always the star in pictures as you can tell. Angel is so sweet. You can just tell from her smile. Sweet teen is sitting in the back next to me. Isn't she a beautiful young lady? I can't believe how she has grown up so fast. They gave me a gift certificate for a massage and some really nice hair spray that I love.
Then Saturday morning my baby daughter Mandy & my baby grandson Little D came over and brought us breakfast. She stayed a while and we went outside and had a great time with her and the baby. Yummy.........breakfast was so good. Mandy & Dusty (SIL) gave me a computer stand that keeps my laptop cool. I love it!

Isn't he just a doll? He loves to ride our gator.
All of my grandchildren love to ride the gator and feed the fish in our pond.

Then on Sunday after church Maranda & Lane (the honeymooners) invited us to lunch at their new home. They have worked so hard on it and it is just beautiful. They gave me a beautiful framed picture of all of us at the wedding. It is gorgeous.

They fixed a feast for us. It was just delicious. Isn't their table gorgeous.
They also invited Lane's (SIL) parents to lunch. We all go to church together so it was nice to sit and visit.
Thank you to my children. It was a wonderful weekend. It started on Friday and ended on Sunday. I loved how they made Mothers Day last the whole weekend. I wonder if they all planned it that way!

Beautiful Inside & Out

My Mom is so beautiful. The thing about her is that she is as beautiful inside as she is outside.
I am very proud of my Mother.
Look at my Moms rose garden. Her flowers are just gorgeous.
I look huge compared to my Mom. She is a tiny thing but I did have on heels!
Today I was able to go and sit down and just enjoy a sweet visit with Mom today. She has the most beautiful home. It is just so peaceful there. I am blessed to have my Mom. There really are no words to describe her. There is nothing like my mothers love. She is so special to me.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Maranda gave me this!!!
My day started with my "Sweet Hunter" bringing a coke and a piece of chocolate cake to me in bed. I know that may sound weird to some of you but I always start my day with a coke so it was wonderful to me. We went to My Mom's house and had a wonderful lunch.
