No Sew Fleece Baby Blanket

I have discovered that I need to do things that can be finished quickly.

I went to a baby shower a few months ago and saw a no sew blanket
done and it was so cute. A young teenager had made it and I just loved it.
Hers was a bigger blanket made for a crib.

So I went to "You Tube" and learned how to make a small baby blanket.

I  needed a baby gift for a sweet little friend
and wanted to make her something from my heart.

So I got busy and had so much fun!!!

Here is my finished blanket.
I just love it!

Here it is ready to put in a gift bag!

Then my little "Angel" spent the afternoon with me
and she saw the extra fabric I had and wanted to learn how to make one.

So she got busy and together we made another blanket.
It is smaller but is just perfect because "Angel" helped make it.

Didn't she do a great job?

Then I got busy and made a couple of burp cloths to go with my gift.

I just love to do projects that I can see finished quickly.

So here is my gift blanket, "Angels" blanket and the
burp cloths all made and ready to give away.
I had so much fun making these gifts with "Angel".

Today I am thankful for.........
                                 making memories with "Angel".

I'm like you in wanting to do make things that are quick and easy. The fleece blankets are so soft and warm for babies. Burp cloths are the perfect thing for a new baby. They go through lots of them. It looks like the little blanket Angel made might be the perfect size for covering a little one when it's in the car seat.

I love the way you're making memories by teaching your grands to craft.

Angel is so cute. Don't you just love it when they want to craft with you? Love the blanket, looks so soft, and the material for the burp cloths is so pretty. Some young lady will be so lucky to get the gifts. Love the way you tied the large ribbon around the gifts. Enjoy the memories you're making with Angel.

Cute little blanket, nothing like spending time with a little one doing something you both like doing. :^)

I have another blogging friend who makes those types of blankets and I remember the first time I'd seen how she made them, I was fascinated that there was no sewing involved! The recipient of your blanket and burp cloths will truly love them:-) I love the fact that Angel takes after you for loving to make things and she certainly did do a beautiful job on her own blanket!! xoxo

I just bought some fleece to make a small blanket for my granddaughter. She'll be with me this weekend and I thought we'd give it a try. She's almost 4 so I'm not sure if she's old enough, but we'll give it a try. If not we can always save it for when she's older. Isn't it fun to be able to finish a project in a short amount of time?
