A Day With My Grandchildren

Today my granddaughter, Alyssa (7 yrs. old) was sick, so she stayed with me. I had to work on my eBay business this morning. She is a good little helper. She can ship as good as me. Then, we had to go pick up my other grandchildren, Triston (12 yrs.old) & Brett (4 yrs. old). I promised Alyssa that I would teach her how to make a quilt block (even though I am just a beginner). Both of the girls wanted to do it so we just got busy. They did a really good job. I was proud of them and enjoyed spending that time teaching them. That is my hearts desire. Little Brother says he wants to make one too. I told him he could the next time, so he played Nintendo and watched us. It was a good day. I am absolutely worn out though. I guess that's why I am a Granny! Oh yes & Alyssa wanted to make her own blog, so of course Gran helped her.

Check it out Alyssa's Blog !
I just love these children with all my heart!

I agree with Alice, you're making special memories. I visited Alyssa's blog as well and left a little note for her.

Those are memories that will last a lifetime. Before you know it she will be creating masterpieces -- so will "he."

Wow, Tristan is all grown up! All your grandchildren are beautiful. I have a very special memory of my dad's mother teaching me to embroider when I was about 11.

That sounded like a fun day. Your grandchildren ae fortunate to have a grandmother who happily spends time with them, loving them and teaching them new things at the same time.
