Thankful

Granny had a little bowl of turnips & a small bit of chicken & dumplings,a banana, and leftover cornbread & as she said a spirit filled prayer thanking the Lord for this little bit of food, I thought to myself how grateful we all ought to be. We all take so many things for granted. Granny has taught me a lot, but she has taught me most of all to be thankful for the little things.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." 1 Thess 5:18

Wow, this is the most precious picture!!! LET US ALWAYS THANK THE LORD FOR ALL THINGS!!! I have been teaching me granddaughters to fold their hands to pray over a meal. Their dad thinks it is silly to pray for or over food. But they have taken it seriously when they are asked to pray. I know their hearts are open right now to the LORD and they must be taught now. I pray for their dad to understand and not reject the heart of thanksgiving to the LORD for all things!
