It is all about HIM

It just seems like lately everything is bad news around here. I know it could be a lot worse and I am so thankful but when all you hear is sad or bad news it gets to you sometimes. As happy as I am that my MOM is some better, it hurts me that I cannot help her more. As happy as I am that my best friend, Vicki is home from the hospital, I just feel so helpless because she feels so bad. I have a son that has a bad arm & after 2 surgeries and lots of therapy he still is in pain & I can't fix it. I have a husband & daughter that have RA and there is not a thing that I can do about it. Another daughter has severe headaches and cannot get relief at certain times and I cannot help. Then we hear some really sad news about a sweet family in our church. It is about my precious friend, Krista's, husbands parents. They had a bad wreck and his Mom has passed away and his dad & brother are in the hospital in very critical condition. I have not been able to talk to Krista but I hope to see them tomorrow. It just breaks my heart & there is nothing I can do except pray for them. Please keep them in your prayers. I know this is so hard for them. I could not imagine what they are feeling. One thing I do know is that Krista & Charlie will see her again. They have that HOPE for sure. If you get a chance you might want to let Krista know that you are praying for them by leaving a note on her blog. I think it would mean a lot to them. They are really special people to me & my husband. It is also Shanda's (who is a new blogger & Krista's niece's) grandparents. Please keep their whole family in your prayers. This sounds like a very sad and depressing post but I don't mean for it to be. There are so many people going through so many things. I know that the Bible tells us not to think it strange that we go through these fiery trials, but it is so hard sometimes. It can be pain, sickness, death or even just unhappiness or depression but we just have to hold on and know that HE is in control. One time my husband & I were going through some things in our lives & a very special man in our church sent us a letter and told us that no matter how hard the winds blow or high the waves get that we just need to stay in the boat. So no matter what comes our way, we just have to trust HIM. Our Pastor tells us all the time that when we are going through a trial to Praise our way out. When we think we cannot STAND anymore, we just have to learn to LEAN. When HE is all we have, HE is all we need. And Know that THIS TOO SHALL PASS! Praise HIM! Praise HIM! Praise HIM! No matter what we go through....It is really all about HIM! I think of what HE went through just for you and me. That is a love that can't be described with words. Where would we be without our Lord??

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL!
HE IS RISEN!
IT IS A NEW DAY!

I love you Valerie! You are a wonderful Sister in the Lord to me online. Look over everything you have been through and I know you will see the Lord's hand in it. You are never alone. It is hard to see the one's around us go through trial and hurts but dear sister they will never know HE will pick them up if they never fall. We just keep praying and know HE is never late. I said I was taking a blog break but I going to post a video for you on my blog. This is my Easter Gift to you!!
Blessings,
Julie

Thanks be to God that we don't have to go through the bad times alone. Easter blessings to you and your family, Valerie.

Our pastor this morning kept repeating "this day is made by the Lord, let us rejoice, let us be glad" and I think its even more important to remember during hard times.

Happy Easter to you and your family. Praying for better times ahead for you.

This is a difficult time for you as you support those around you in need. I have visited Krista's blog and left her a message but I want you to know I am praying for you too. We have a great God who works all things for good for those who love HIm and called according to His purposes

Thanks for requesting prayer for me along with all the others in your life who need it. Today finds me much improved, praise God!
I pray for Vicki and for Krista and her dear family in this loss of her Mother in law, also for your children, (my grandchildren). I have found that there are some real prayer warriors in this blogging group and I thank them so much for their prayer support, and for yours and all you have done for me.
Love
MOM

Thank you for posting about my family. We went home today for clothes and I just had to get my computer. I told Charlie when we are just sitting and waiting I can pass the time with my blog. I know that God can do all things, and we are all in his will. Thank you for praying for us. When we arrived at the hospital on Thursday night I wondered if Vicki was still here. I thought that maybe I could go and visit her, but since she has went home will you let her know that we are still praying for her? I will also continue to pray for your sweet Mom. I want to thank you and Randy for being our friends.

Our wonderful Lord calls us to pray for one another - so thank you for letting us be a part of your life and the lives of your wonderful friends and especially family - so that we may pray.
