This blog is and always will be dedicated to my Sweet Hunter, our children & Grands now and one day our Great Grands after I am gone. Thank you all for your visit! Come sit for a spell! Welcome to the farm!
It is wonderful to see Granny opening up her cards and gifts. I am so happy to see her blessed. I feel very lucky to have been a part of her birthday, we all love her so much!
What I love most about Granny is her sincere gratefulness and surprise at how many people have remembered her. You are able to capture her genuineness perfectly. She deserves all the attention.
How beautiful! This is a wonderful thing that everyone has done for Granny! I imagine she is just in awe that everyone is giving her all this attention.
Wow, I can see how Granny could be overwhelmed, and needed a break. I needed a break just looking at all those cards and gifts. I hope she had the best birthday ever! Michelle
oh, I just read about Granny on the Sewn newsletter! Sorry not to have met her sooner!(I'd have loved to have gotten in on that giveaway!) May I send her a Christmas present?--Really! I lost a great friend and neighbor in July that lived to the age of 95 and I only wish to have had more years quilting and knitting with her! She was a kindred spirit and I will treasure the lessons learned from her for the rest of my life! Lucky you to enjoy time with her for many years to come!! And tell your Dad that her time at the sewing machine is her rest time!
Thanks for the slideshow. It was wonderful to be there for her suprises. Granny certainly deserved a special birthday and you really gave it to her. Bonnie in Iowa
Oh how it made me smile when I saw my birthday card in Granny's hands and I'm just so glad she loves the little angel pin, as well as the maple leaves:-) I don't think she will ever realize how much she's blessed our lives...thank YOU, dear Valerie, for sharing her with us!! xoxo
