Granny Got Her Miracle

As sad as this is for the family and friends and you bloggers, Granny got her miracle! Remember a couple of posts back? I came home from the hospital and I knew that I needed YOU to get on your knees for Granny. Not long after that post is when the call came in and I headed back to the hospital but she was already gone home to be with the Lord. I was thinking today...... We all reached heaven. Granny has hers made. Of course we all would have loved to have Granny with us longer but that just wasn't the plan. Granny got her miracle. This picture was took 2 years ago on her birthday as she praised the Lord. If you would like to sign Granny's guestbook it would mean the world to me (and Granny). I would love for the family to see how Granny reached the world and she did. You can go here and look for "Beulah Teasley Gribble." She passed away on April 13, 2010. Click on her name. It will take you to the obituary and then at the top you can see Sign Guestbook. We are about to leave to go to the funeral home. Thank you for all of the prayers and comments. Granny would be proud! She didn't understand the internet but she thought she was on t.v.! Is she not a doll? You will be hearing lots more about Granny. I promise.

I want to burst out crying right now! Today has been the worst day I've had in a very long time, and I just got home after 8 hours of struggling with everything to read this about our beloved Granny!!! Yes, my Granny too, because I talked about her and thought about her and loved her through you, Valerie! I am so thankful for her life, her quilting up to the end, and her love for our LORD...HER LORD she is now with!!! Oh, it must be marvelous to finally enter into her reward and to hear "My good and faithful friend!" from Jesus!!! Wow, now I will have to call my mom with the news. She, like Granny, will rejoice that another has entered the heavenlies! After all, isn't that our destination when we love Jesus?! Valerie and Alice Grace, and girls, I am sorry for your loss, but thankful for your memories. God bless each of you. I will sign the book when I digest this. Not what I expected to read when I opended your blog. sigh~~~~ Praise the Name of Jesus!

Granny really did get her miracle Val. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to "meet" Granny and share in the last year of her life. And what a wonderful one it was for her and all of us! She was such a blessing and now she gets to be in Heaven, that is so wonderful. Thank you Val, for Granny

O No, I just cannot believe it. I knew I felt a "loss" , but it is still hard to believe.

She was such an inspiration to everyone , so full of life and sharing of herself and her craft. We all know that every stitch she put in was covered in love.

Thank you so very much for all that you shared with us. Some people never get to know their Granny - but so many shared her life and love.

Love to you and your family in this challenging time.

Our beautiful sweet Granny is praising the Lord now in person! She is happy and I know she is out of pain, and with other loved ones who have gone before. God bless you, my little daughter, for honoring Granny as you have. You have done a very wonderful thing. You shared her with many others who appreciated her and her testimony for the Lord, and her wonderful talent of sewing quilts which have found their way all over the US and other countries as well. You and all the blogging friends made Granny so happy and special. Thank you, Valerie, and thanks to all the blogging friends who found a jewel in Granny to cling to and love.
Love
MOM

Hi Valerie
I am sorry to learn about your loss. I only learnt about Granny's passing yesterday (at work - in the office). When I broke the news to my colleagues (many of whom have been reading your blog), they were saddened. I also told my bible study group about Granny's passing and needless to say, we were both shocked & sad. We held prayers for Granny and we all know that she now dwells in the House of the Lord. May God bless you & your family during this difficult period.
Blessings,

Oh Val, I am so sorry to read this news. We just returned from Chicago and I started to catch up on my blogs.

I am happy that Granny has reached her lifetime goal with a life well lived and worthy of eternal rest. I was also glad to read that the end came quickly for her and she did not have to suffer at the end.

For you and your family, I will be offering my prayers as you deal with such a tremendous loss.

How wonderful to be able to share this time with you. I printed out a copy of her Obituary and will keep it always so that the grands can know Granny and know who made their quilts. She touched us in a special way because you shared her with us. She has blessed us all. It was an honor to write in the guestbook.
