I Love It When I Am Missed

Life has been so busy lately but we managed to get in a little trout fishing.
It was 95 degrees but down at this beautiful river it was much cooler.
I caught 4 little fish and 1 good trout.
Sweet hubby only caught 3 or 4 trout.
I guess it was too hot for the fish too.
Between my work, life in general, working in the garden and all of the other things that keeps us all busy I haven't even blogged in about a week or so. That is so unusual for me because blogging is one of my favorite hobbies.
It is nice to know that I have been missed. I have received several emails and phone calls asking me why I haven't blogged. Thank you.
We are just starting to get some vegetables out of our gardens.
My Dad planted things that I don't even know what they are. Do you know what this is?
I figured it was a type of squash.

We have been out of town but my Dad said he picked about a bushel of beans while I was gone and they are already to pick again! Busy, busy, busy and it all starts over again Monday! I am thankful for "busy" though.

Prayer Request: A Mothers heart.

Thank you for missing me!

Did you know that blogs can get too full of pictures? Well mine is about to overflow so I will be starting another blog soon. I will let you know when it is ready. I hope you all will visit me when I get it all set up. I LOVE my blogging buddies!

*Also, if you look at my sidebar you will notice that it is "Angels" birthday tomorrow! You can click on her picture and it will take you to her blog. Happy Birthday to my sweet Angel!

Glad to see you back blogging. I wish I had a garden. Maybe next year.

I didn't know blogs had a photo limit...that's not good.
Your garden is looking so healthy. I love that yellow squash; just yesterday I put in some yellow/summer squash and zucchini in my spaghetti sauce. Yummy.
I hope you have another great weekend!

Glad you had a good time - nothing better than fishin'! And I'm glad you're back.
I'm not sure I understand about your blog being "too full" - are you uploading pictures from your computer? I remember, when I first started, reading that if I did that, I would run out of room where the pictures are hosted. So I switched to flickr, and that way I won't run out of room.
Happy Birthday Angel!

Mom,
It's about time you did another blog. I've been looking every single day. Glad you're back on.

Glad to see that you were just busy with life and some good old fishing. Love the pics of your garden. That squash is the kind I like. I pan fry mine in a little butter.

Hi Val, I have missed you. Glad that you can enjoy a little fishing. As you know I also had to start a separate blog when my quilting one started to have too much about my thrifting. I look forward to seeing your new blog. Take care and have a blessed weekend.

I will definitely follow you if your get a new blog.
I thought I read somewhere that blogger automatically compresses your pics, which if it's true, should make it really hard to run out of space!

Oh no! Too many pictures? How do you find out when you are reaching that point?

It's good to see you back, but I knew you weren't just lounging around and popping chocolates!! Glad that you were having fun.

Happy Birthday to Angel! Question....how do we know if our blog is getting too full of photos??? AND...I am thinking if that happens, I might just go back to my earliest posts and delete the posts and the photos from that time period.

I haven't been blogging and/or visiting half as much as I used to and I really miss it since like you, I love blogging but with Summer here there is just so much else to do and with the weather being so beautiful here, I've been spending most of my time outside:-) What a lovely spot to go fishing in, it looks so tranquil and peaceful!!

Your veggie garden is way ahead of ours, none of our vegetables are ready yet, in fact the plants are just starting to grow now! lol That plant you asked about is a zucchini, it's the same type we grow in our garden.

When you reach your limit in pictures for your blog, you can buy more space at Google. Go here to read about it...

I bought more storage 2 years ago and don't think I'll ever run out again! lol xoxo
