Do you remember Grandpa? He is not exactly a baby. He weighs about 25 lbs.Anyway, do you see him out in the pond? He was out in the pond everyday for over a week.
We could not figure out what he was doing. Finally a friend of ours got in our little boat and paddled out in the pond and found out! This poor little 25 pounder was wrapped up in fishing line and could not get loose. He saved Grandpa's life!
We have these little Brown babies everywhere!
And these little Black babies hopping everywhere.
Look how these babies have grown. Isn't it funny how protective the parents are. One is in front and one is in the back. It kind of reminds me of human parents. Protective. Then there comes a time when the parents will push the babies away to lead their own life. Amazing lesson here.
This is a whole different family that are being raised at our pond. This family has 4 babies.Look at Mom and Dad. This is so amazing to me.

Believe it or not but these baby blueberries will grow a lot more before they are ready to pick.
And I just had to show you this new baby.........this was my Dad's sewing machine before he received Granny's. Did you know that Daddy sewed quilts before my Granny left us?

He hasn't sewn at all since Granny has been gone though. I haven't either but I sure am planning to. I promised Granny that I would make quilts and I am determined. I hope that Daddy will get back at it too. He sure did enjoy it. I guess it will take time.

I love all your babies, especially the blueberries. I have to drive an hour to go pick blueberries every summer. I can't imagine having some of my own bushes! I do have a few baby tomatoes on my topsy-turvys, though. Thanks for sharing your babies with us. They grow up so fast!

Val, it just warms my heart to think how you and your Dad are sticking so close together after Granny's death. I'm sure she would be happy. I am glad you are going to continue to make quilts.

Oh, and ONE zucchini for the same price. It's expensive to eat healthy around here.
Great pictures. I'm glad grandpa was saved from the fishing line. I hope your dad gets back to sewing. I'm sure granny would want him to. It's probably hard for him right now, remembering granny sitting at the sewing machine on her little stool.
I can't wait till the blueberries are ready! I love how the ducks take care of their own babies so well.
We used to pick blueberries at a farm here that uses no chemicals on their bushes. I have heard they have gone out of business....sad, if that's true.
