What Can I Say?

Life is good when you are home with the man you love and he is cooking on the grill!
Look at these beautiful tomatoes. I love them cooked on the grill.
I love them on a tomato sandwich too! I love them in salsa too! I love them in a salad too. I could go on and on. Do you think I love a good fresh tomato???
Our favorite part of having a garden is grilling vegetables.
We marinate our squash slices in olive oil and a little Dales Steak Seasoning Sauce and then grill.
Oh my goodness!
We also had some chicken, bell pepper and onion.
Fresh corn shucked, silked and wrapped in foil with butter, salt and pepper made a perfect supper.
Life is good.

SNIPPETS FROM MY HEART

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Your dinner looks delicious! Those are beautiful tomatoes. We love Dale's sauce on just about anything! I'll have to try it on squash.
The Serenity Prayer was my Mother's favorite. Thanks for sharing it tonight.

I love grilled vegetables. I love the Serenity Prayer. I have a framed needlepoint of it that my daughter made for me years ago.
