Friday Night Sew In

This is only the second mug rug that I have ever made.

Can you guess that it has an Easter theme?
I am having fun exploring my little embroidery machine.

I have to admit to you that I am not real happy with this project.

Here it is all finished.  Looks a little wonky to me!
This is not all that I worked on
but I can't show you the other mug rug.
I joined an Easter Mug Rug swap over at Aunt Pitty Pats!
I guess this one will be mine since I am not too happy with it.
I will show you the other one once she receives it in the mail next week.
Thank you to Heidi and Bobbi for hosting the FNSI.
I am also linking up with Peg & Kris with the OPAM (one project a month)!
All these girls encourage me to do more and learn more and I thank you all.

Today I am thankful for......encouragers!

I think your project is cute. I don't have an embroidery machine, so I'm always fascinated when I see work done on one.

O Val!
What a perfect little "testing ground" for your embroidery path! I love things that you can "test out on"-but it still does not get wasted!I hate to see things wasted , if I can help it. ????

But , consider once someone has their cookies and drink sitting on it devouring goodies nobody , but you, will ever think anything is not perfect on it?

Sometimes we are our own worst taskmasters. You had a wonderful day to practice on a lovely project and you learned a lot- at least you were not like me and a 45 minute project lassoed me in and it turned into a 2 hour project.

I LOVE your little gem! Do I see visions of a little deer somewhere in your future for your dear hunter -maybe that was "sweet hunter"! LOL

Well I think it's adorable - and what a great idea to test out some embroideries! I'm having trouble with my embroidery software, I need to get it resolved so I can stitch some out on mug rugs - perfect Christmas idea, Val!
