Ringgold Ga.- This says it all

This is about 30 minutes from my home and where my Mom & sister and many friends live.  This is the same prayer that I was praying last night. If you cannot hear this prayer please keep trying.  It is worth it. I thank the Lord my Mother, sister, & family & friends are safe.  My uncle has a furniture store that is destroyed there. The town of Ringgold is destroyed. So far there are 7 confirmed deaths. Please pray for Ringgold Georgia!

That is so scary. I am so glad your mom, sister and friends are safe. Did your family and friends have any damage, other than the furniture store?

There have been so many horrible storms already this year. Our tornado season has not started yet, and I pray it is not like every one else's.

Take care, sweetie.

Val, So glad you posted. I didn't know exactly where you are located, but I did think of you last night. So glad your family and friends are safe. So sorry to hear about the furniture store. My heart goes out to those who have suffered loss. Such a sad time. Thanked God when we woke this morning, and today he has blessed us with sunshine. We were without power all night, but things here are fine. We are blessed. Take care.

I'm praying too--as is our church prayer chain here in New Mexico. I moved here from Bradley County, TN. The entire area needs our prayers--I'm adding additional ones for your family and friends.
Many hugs.....

I've been praying for the people all over the country who are falling victim to the vicious weather. I don't remember ever seeing anything like this in all my 70 years.

So glad to hear you are okay...these tornadoes have been terrible. Is the Lord trying to tell us something?

Oh, Val.....the destruction from those storms is almost beyond belief. I feel so bad about all of that. I'm sorry your uncle lost his store, but at least his life was spared.

Dear God be with them indeed. My heart goes out to all affected, such devastation. I'm so glad to hear that your mom and other family members and friends are safe!! I was watching the news last night when they showed a few videos of some of the tornadoes and it was terrifying. We had rain and high winds over here but nothing like over there. Please be safe, all of you! xoxo

Val, it was a long night full of short prayers, wasn't it! I used to know a girl who was from Ringgold, and spent an interesting weekend with her and her family there many years ago. I kept thinking of her and her family (even though I have had no contact in many years) last night throughout the storms and reports of damage there. Watching the news now, it brings things into perspective . . . it could have been us! Hubby found out today that one of his customers in AL was killed in the storms. I am so thankful that none of your family was hurt! Becky

Val, I am so glad that you are all ok. We have been having some really rainy and stormy weather up here for a couple of weeks. One night last week we had to get up in the middle of the night, the tornado sirens were going off, we had to stay in the basement for a while, we were lucky though. I feel so bad for all the people in the south especially in Alabama where so many lives were lost. This sure has been some spring

O Val,
How horrible- I could not sleep last night for watching the horror unfold on the weather channel. I am so pleased that your family and friends are all safe.

I told DH last night that we have never had to contend with this kind of weather before -and if it is going to continue we need to dig a cellar for shelter. I don't think he took me seriously. But I do know that our Father did take my prayers seriously. :)

Oh my gosh,Val, I'm so sorry your uncle's store has been destroyed. I'm glad your family is safe though. I'm praying for you and your family and friends. I sent you an email hoping you still had power and your home was intact.
Glad it is but sad for everyone else. I've been watching all the videos, it's amazing what a tornado can do in a matter of seconds.
Bless you.

Val I'm so glad to hear from you and that you are okay. The storms we had here in Arkansas were nothing compared to those in other states, including your own. I feel blessed to have come through with only a loss of electricity for a while. My prayers are with you all. blessings, marlene
