Mandy & Martha Making Fabric Easter Cards

My baby daughter, Mandy came over to help me paint the table that you saw in the last post. After painting the table we went into my sewing room and Mandy started telling me about some fabric Easter cards she had saw Martha Stewart do on t.v.- I just couldn't believe she was talking about this. I also had saw the same show. I had went that very day and purchased the bone folder, the card stock, and the paper cutter to make these cards. I just started handing them to her. She couldn't believe her eyes. She started working on them and in just a few minutes with the video of Martha going on the computer, Mandy finished several cards to send for Easter. We had so much fun! I just loved seeing her so happy! She is my creative child!

My mom and I are just like that! We will be on the same wave length or something. We enjoy making crafts and being creative.

I love your end table too. I like finding salvaged items and fixing them up to "new".

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a great Easter!

What a wonderful activity to share with your daughter. My mom and I have moments like that too. (Like you, she's also a devoted grandma of three!)

And your table is fabulous! I just love a good project like that.

Just wanted to return the favor of stopping by. I very much enjoyed your comments on my blog. I'll be back too :)

Happy Easter!
