I am quite proud of us!!!!
My Mom & I went to our second Quilting class last night. We had a really good time. We worked harder this time but we finished 2 blocks this week. Make sure and visit my Mom, Alice Grace to see her blocks close up. We learn something new every week. There are only 3 more classes to go. I sure hope I can do it. I love it! I actually dream about quilting!
Is that normal????
Don't forget to check

We did have fun! I don't know if it is normal to dream of quilting, but I noticed while at work when I saw a pair of scissors on my desk, I thought of quilting! All those real quilters say it is addictive, and they must be right! I love doing the class with you!
Love
MOM
Well done! Dreaming of quilting is the only way to dream! Love all your photos too.
Looks like you two are really enjoying this hobby. Quilt dreams....absolutely!! Sometimes I will even get up in the middle of the night to sew something that I dreamed. lol
It looks like you had so much fun!
Hi Valerie. Thanks for stopping by. I tried quilting once. It was fun. Maybe when I get more time I will do it again.

Dreaming about quilting is perfectly normal. Sometimes it keeps me up at night. When I get an idea in my head I just can't stop.
It is wonderful that you and your mom are doing a class together. My mom is 18 hours away.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Every Friday I give away a FQ. So all you have to do is leave me a comment and you are entered. The deadline is Thursday evening at the strike of midnight.
Hi there Valerie - I found you through a comment on FabricMom's blog...I just had to stop by because I'm a "quilting Valerie" too! Lol*
Yours and your Mom's blocks look wonderful. I love the quilt you are making, it's an Eleanor Burns quilt right? I just love her quilts, wish she still had her show on tv!
May I say, Beautiful blocks!!
You and your Mom have fun, that's great! Keep up the wonderful work and enjoy!
your family is beautiful thank you for stopping by please do again...
What fun it must be to take a class with your mom. Thats fabulous.
Wonderful quilt blocks!! I think you're hooked now! Laurie
You both look completely hooked now, no turning back. Quilting is a great hobby and how fun to share with your Mom.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Yes, you do have reason to be proud. Your blocks are turning out very well. Wishing you many quilts made by your hands in the future.
Hi Valerie - thanks for visiting my blog and leaving the nice comment. Your blog is totally fun - cool that you're taking quilting classes - I've thought of doing that myself. Too many ideas, too little time!! :)
I loved seeing your favorite things on your sidebar - we have a black 'Vette - if it ever stops snowing we'll be getting it out for the summer!
Quilting is addictive--I have been addicted since I was about five. Or maybe it is the fabric that is addicting...
Hi, Valerie! Thank you for stopping by my blog.*S*
Seems like you and your mom had a great time.*S* Those blocks are very beautiful. I love your color choice!
thank you for the comment. I learned to quilt about 7 years ago. I learned to do it all by hand. I bought a new sewing machine 2 years ago but I still quilt the tops by hand. I like the not perfect look. i have only finished 3 quilts, and have 2 that I am working on now. one of them is all hand done so it is taking forever. I really need to take pictures of them and get them on my blog.
how fun to take a quilting class with your mom! your blocks look great.
and I dream about quilting all the time, but I don't know if that is normal or not. ;)
Wow! Only your 2nd class and you did this well? You're a natural!
Dreaming of quilting is, well, just heaven's way of keeping the creative flow sparkling 24/7.
A Natural Love, *karendianne.
Valerie, your blocks are fabulous!! I too am learning and I think it is just so funny that I just started a quilting class also, small world. How much fun to go with your Mom, I kept thinking while I was in my class yesterday that I wished my daughter Courtney was with me. She has a newborn baby so it would have been hard, next class for sure!
Not sure if it's normal, but you are not alone with your quilt dreams!! Thanks for visiting my blog!
