Take a Walk With Me

I LOVE my birds!
My woodpecker is playing hide & seek!

I LOVE my Hummers too!
This picture is through the screen!
I think I have 5 that visit!

My "Sweet Hunter" LOVES gourds for his Purple Martins!
I wish they would eat more mosquitos!

My Tulips!

This butterfly was enjoying the blueberry bushes!

These don't bloom long but they are gorgeous when they do!

More beautiful tulips!
These are in my Rock and Rose garden!

There's something about springtime!
Like a breath of fresh air!

I planted these last year!
They are beautiful.
Don't you think?

Our Catfish Pond!

I have been in kind of a blah mood this week. Do you ever feel that way? Sometimes I just feel like so many people depend on me. I want to make sure that everyone is ok. That is my nature. But I have found out, that I just can't fix everyone. I have a grown son that needs a lot of prayer. He has not worked in 2 years because of an injury. He has had 2 surgeries and he is still in terrible pain. He has no income and no insurance and is totally dependant on us, his family. I wish I could just make his pain go away. I wish everyone could be happy and healthy. One of my children asked me why I was sewing, quilting & blogging, while dealing with this problem. I told her it brings me JOY, PEACE, & CONTENTMENT. It takes my mind off things I cannot change. I am 53 years old and feel so blessed. Do I have problems? Yes. Can I fix them all? No. I think that is life. All I can do is the best I can do. So, today, I decided to take a walk. You can see what all I was able to enjoy. As I looked around at all HIS beauty, I just thought to myself....... Thank you is not enough. God is so good to me.

Ephesians 6: 13, 14 says:
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore....

Philippians 4:13 says that I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

So will you help me pray for my son?

What a great entry. I know how you feel, in some ways at least. I have been going through a lot here, and your entry has reminded me that we need to look to Him at all times. He is always with us, and we need to rely on His strength, not our own. He is always in control. I will pray for your son as well as your whole family. I hope you have a nice weekend :cD

I'm so sorry to hear about what you have been dealing with lately. I will add your son to my prayers that he will be relieved of his terrible pain.

I so enjoyed the walk with you. Didn't we see some beautiful sights? I think that I am glad to not have that bird feeding bill. :)

We're in autumn mode here in Australia so we've got to wait six months for spring flowers like yours. I always turn to nature when I'm troubled, you can see God's hand so clearly there. A long walk is good therapy and so is talking to friends, even if they're on the net! I hope the family concerns will lighten- we never stop worrying about our babies, do we?
Knitting isn't hard and is good therapy too, I encourage you to learn and join in the fun.

Prayers and thoughts are winging your way. Quilting has greatly helped me, too, while dealing with my Mom's illness and passing. It really does help to take your mind off of sad issues that are beyond your control.

I'm so sorry about your son and will pray for him and your family.

I enjoyed walking with you. :) I did that the other day when I was feeling blah and it truly helped. It made me realize that trials will eventually pass and we just have to hold on to God's Hand, trusting He'll bring us through. :)

Thanking God that He brought healing to your body. Will pray that He will place His healing hand on your son also. I too know the power of prayer. I was diagnosed April 23, 2003 with breast cancer. I will soon be celebrating my 5 year milestone. Praise the Lord!
Thank you for the tour and thank you for stopping by my blog.
