Caught Up With My Quilt Blocks

I have worked really hard this weekend to get caught up with Amanda Jean's Quilt Along! I am so excited! The pictures show blocks 6-9 and then all of them together. I am very proud of them. I had a lot of fun. Every spare minute this weekend you would find me in the sewing room. I enjoyed every minute of it! How can quilting be this much fun? Only quilters would understand!

Star blocks are some of my very favorites so I've enjoyed seeing your photos.

I hope your leg is feeling better.

The quilt looks great. It almost shines at you.
I understand how much fun you can have being locked in a room and chained to your sewing machine. LOl

You are just moving right along with your quilting! I love the yellow stars. I should be spending more time piecing too but not until I finish the longarm orders and the machine is moved out. Then I plan to begin digging into my stash. Just a short time away...

I really love the color palette you've chosen for this quilt. So calming and sophisticated. It's going to look great! (It does already!) It's amazing how everyone is making the same blocks but they all look SOOO different.
Thanks for visiting my blog! : )

You give me a smile. I have the same feelings when I'm immersed in writing or making a card or some other piece of art. Your quilt is awesome.

I love the colors you chose for the star blocks. Yellow tones are sometimes difficult to work with because they tend to be so strong. Great job.
