Little By Little

Our "Sweet Daughter" is doing a little better. She has sat up more today. She seems to be using the crutches better. She has only been on them twice today so far. My "Sweet Son" went to the Doctor today and they are sending him to a pain specialists. They think the nerves in the shoulder is just shooting sparks from being damaged and he may have to live with this and just learn how to manage it. I don't see that happening, but I guess that is why they are doctors and I am just a Mom! While everyone was resting today, I was working. I have some much needed housework to catch up on since I have had grandchildren all summer. Now that they are all back in school, I have a lot to do! I started with my screened in porch. I washed it from the top to the bottom. I rearranged my furniture and even changed my wicker furniture out for some furniture I had on the deck. It is nice to have a change ever so often. And it sure feels good to know that little by little I am getting some catching up done. Tomorrow is a new day and I am excited to see what I get done next. We ended our day today with a delicious Chicken casserole, yeast rolls & salad and topped it off with homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies! Little by little......

Don't forget to check out Day 3 of My 7 Day Sweet Pickles!

Great job! I know you enjoyed those projects, I know you! I hope there is some answer for Nathan's pain. And I know, with time, Maranda will be able to get around well. This was not an easy surgery for her and it will take some time. Meantime, you are doing so great taking care of everyone, as usual!

Your screened-in porch looks lovely, like a sanctuary, a nice place for a cup of tea or coffee and a good book. Dinner sounds delicious, and I can almost smell those cookies.

I am so sorry to hear that your son is having so much pain, so frustrating waiting for the doctors to figure it out. In the meantime I will continue to give him to God in prayer.
