Men after Sunday Lunch

I still have my "Sweet Daughter", Maranda here recooperating from Bunion surgery. She is really having a rough time. Her "Sweet Sister", Mandy (Mommy to be), stopped by to spend some time with her. I think that made Maranda's day. It takes 2 of us to get her to the restroom and she is in so much pain. I just went and checked on my "sweet son" downstairs and he is sound asleep. He doesn't get too much sleep with his bad shoulder, so I was glad to see it. I, now on the other hand, haven't stopped today. My "Sweet honey" cooked a big ham on the grill all night. These are delicious. If you have never tried one, try it. He got up and went on to church and I stayed here with my son and daughter and cooked lunch. We had the ham, fresh green beans, fresh fried squash, mashed potatoes, homemade macaroni & cheese served with tomatoes & cucumbers, yeast rolls and topped off with a banana pudding. I also started day 1 of my 7 Day Sweet Pickles! Now the two guys you see sleeping have no excuse! ha! That is mine & Maranda's "Sweet Honey's." I guess this is an afternoon nap. I wouldn't know what that was! I am pooped! Hope you all have a blessed Sunday afternoon.

Wow1 What a great lunch for them all! I hope Maranda has a better day tomorrow. I know you are all anxiously waiting for her to feel better. Maybe all that good food helped!....and the visit from Sweet Mandy!

Oh my, does that ham ever smell good...absolutely I can smell it!!!

Hope your patients start to feel better soon. Watch it so you don't become the next patient. Get some rest.

What a delicious meal for your family! I hope the patient(s) get better soon - it hurts a mother's heart when her children hurt. Blessings, marlene

Wow, what a huge lunch. I hope Maranda felt like eating. I'm still praying for her. Be careful that you don't do too much.
