The Sweetest Guys

Our "sweet guys" took us to a great breakfast at a German Bakery & Restaurant.
They gave up their day of "real mens fishing" to help us fish off of the bank.

This is all my sweet honey did all day.
I kept getting hung up in the trees and he had to tie new hooks on my rod.

Eddie helping Vicki get ready to catch the big one!
He must be telling her his secrets!

I am trying so hard, but didn't catch one.
I thought I got a bite a couple of times, but I think I was hung on a rock.
If it wasn't a tree....it was a rock!
It took both of them to get this hook out of this rope swing!
I threw my line and somehow it wrapped around this rope.
We didn't want someone to come along and get a hook in their hand.
Wouldn't that be terrible if someone came to swim and got on this swing and a hook was in it?
I don't have a clue how I did that one.
Our Big Catch of the day!
Vicki caught this big fish!
Boy we had fun!

Our sweet guys sacrificed their day for us to do a little fishing. Normally they are out climbing mountains and going to the hidden little spots that nobody knows about. But today, they gave up their day for us. We have the sweetest guys in the whole world! We are so blessed.

I don't know which I laughed the most about, your fishing hook in the rope swing, or Vicki's fish! I got such a kick out of reading this post! Looks like everyone is having a very good time, and a restful trip!

Love the tranquil scenery ... BUT EWWWWW a worm & a fish! Couldn't do that ... I'd be on the bank basking in the sun. Glad you are having a good time.

What a great time you all are having! The fishing story is a hoot! I hooked hubby's hand once when I was casting.....oops! He was so good about it though, then we caught each others line under the boat and we both were tugging thinking we had a big fish!

Those featherweights are so cute! I don't have one but everyone I know that has them just loves them!

Stop by when you get a chance, I got a quilt block in a quilt magazine.....well sort of......you'll have to check it out to see! :o)
