After Pictures

If you read the last post you know that we had to foreclose on a little house that we remodeled.
It was trashed but thankfully not damaged too much at all. Here is the kitchen when we got through with it. Looks a lot better than the last post, huh?
This is the little dining room.

This is the livingroom. We refinished these hardwood floors. This is an old house and these are the original floors. They are so pretty.

It is amazing what a little hard work will do. We are very thankful that we got the house back in as good of condition as it was. Now we are hoping that we get some people in it that have integrity. We have had several calls today but my husband is going to be very careful this time. We don't want to do this again anytime soon. We have purchased another house that we will be starting the first of August. We love doing it. We work very hard but it is a challenge. We have got to make some time for fishing soon too!!

Special Note to my Cousin Nancy: Before you left your sweet comment, Alyssa had already called me and told me that they met you. She was so excited. You are a sweetheart. I need to get your email!

the house is really cute- I'm impressed...Thank goodness the people only left trash instead of messing the place up. It looks great!

That is a lovely little house! You and Randy do such a good job at this! I am glad they didn't damage the house too much, especially those beautiful original floors!

It looks very pretty now. Thankfully, nothing was damaged beyond repair. Those floors are so nice. I know you are so tired after all that cleaning. Take care, both of you.

You're right the hardwood floor are beautiful! It looks like your hard work paid off nicely. The wall color compliments the floors. I wish I lived in a little house like that one. Enjoy your week and I hope you get to go fishing soon. :-)

I will never understand how people don't take care of a house when they're living in it!! It's just so sad to see how they had left it but you sure did a great job in making it beautiful again! Those wood floors are absolutely gorgeous. I love that you put their left over furniture on the curb! hehe

I've just caught up with your last few posts and I truly enjoyed the pictures of your two grands making cornbread:-) I use my hands too when it comes to dough like that, including pie and bread dough. My mom taught me that way, always said you needed to feel the texture yourself!

Love your new screen door as well, the design is gorgeous.

Of course I know you weren't being nosy when you asked about Steve! lol I can understand how confusing it can be for my readers! hehe Love ya! xoxo

I'm glad you were able to clean things up---what a disappointment to have things so dirty. I loved the thought on integrity. Good luck with everything you need to do to fix some else's thoughtlessness!! Julie

That is such a cute little house and you sure got it back in wonderful shape in a short time. I can't understand people who do things like that. The house next door has been empty for months. The people hadn't made payments and I heard that it looks really bad inside. It is a large 2 story, 4 bedroom house. The back yard still has all the leaves from 2 years ago! Junk is still sitting on the side of the house. Our neighbor is mowing the grass to keep the weeds down. Whoever took over the mortgage lives in CA...guess they don't know what a house like that does to the neighborhood. I'm sure the neighbors of your hour bless you for taking care of the house so fast. Hope you can find someone who will really take crae of the house now.

Oops, guess I didn't proof read that comment. Meant "house" instead of "hour"!
