'Till The Storm Passes By

We have had a week of sunshine & fun with our family on vacation this week.
It didn't even rain until yesterday.
We were sitting at the beach and the sun was shining so brightly but off in the far distance
you could see a storm brewing.

I heard some say that it would pass over but then it got so dark and the wind started blowing.
Everyone started leaving the beach as the rains started to come in.
As I watched the storm come in and it started raining and we were all headed to the condo, I was thinking to myself that this is just like life. The sun is shining and we are so happy and everything seems to be going our way and then with the blink of an eye it can change.

The storms start brewing and a trial comes our way. We have to find shelter from the storm and then after a while it is over.
Then the sun is shining again and the skies are blue. Life is good. We always have shelter from the storm. The rains came, the winds blew but we made it through. I am so thankful that we have a shelter from the storms that come our way.

I love to have theses little messages from the Lord. I am so glad that I know HIM.

Joy always comes in the morning.
This posts is dedicated to anyone who may be going through a trial.

Special Note To Our Daughters:
Shannon (& Bryan): Thank you for a wonderful vacation! You all made it so special for us. We loved it.
Maranda: Thank you for the groceries & for the clean house that was waiting for us. What a nice gift! You are an angel.
Mandy: Thanks for meeting us for supper as we drove in so we could see you & "Little D"! He is a doll & you are such a good Mommy. It meant the world to us. We are so proud of you.

My Sweet Friend,

Thank you oh so much for your heartfelt comments on my site, your faithfulness and your precious prayers. Thank you for guiding me to your site tonight as I just came in and sat down at the computer to read and I saw your comment.

This post along with the pictures certainly says it all my friend. Oh how we know that life can literally change before our eyes. I enjoyed the song too as I listened to it and read along this post. What an encourager you are.

You are a sweetheart and I am so thrilled that God has connected us through the blogosphere. It's amazing how He just knows, isn't it? I am so thankful...so thankful for Him, for so many, many things.

God bless you my precious friend. Thank you for taking me along on the ride. I enjoyed your vacation pictures very much. I've never been to the ocean, so your pictures brought it to me! That is just what I needed too!

Love you,

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 Yes, I'm very glad I know Him too. Thank you for this post.

This post is so true! When the storms come, we wonder if it will ever subside and the pain go away, and with God's help, we pass thru it, because HE is holding our hand! What would we do without our Lord, who walks thru the valley with us, and the mountain top! We are so blessed to have our Lord to lean on.
Beautiful post and wonderful analogy.
