Blessings From Michelle For Me & Granny

This is Granny reading her birthday card from Michelle.
When Granny receives a card she reads every word out loud.
This was such a sweet card made just for Granny by Michelle.

If you haven't visited Michelle's Blog, you need to.

This is all of the gifts that Michelle sent Granny!!

Do you see the sewing machine covers? Michelle made one for me and one for Granny!!

Oh I just love mine. She sent so much fabric for Granny. I am going to cut it into the size squares that granny likes and take them to her a little at a time. There are also sheets in this box. Granny loves to use sheets for her backing.

Thank you Michelle!

Here I am explaining how this fits over the machine.

I took a picture of all the other gifts that Michelle sent and took it to Granny and told her that I would cut it up for her.

She was so thrilled with this. As you know Granny sews Monday through Thursday. She looked at me and said, "Now Beth, this woman gave this to me??" I said, yes Granny. She said, "I just don't understand how they all know me." I explained to her that I tell all my friends about her and everyone loves her.
I am slowly giving Granny the birthday cards and gifts that you bloggers are sending.
Her birthday is Oct. 24th but we are receiving so many cards I thought she would enjoy them a little at a time.
Thank you to everyone! She is loving it. I am trying to post it all if she lets me get a picture.

O.K. I have to show you all something!!!
Do you remember when Grannys sewing machine tore up and they had to get her another one?
Well, Michelle saw it on my blog and she emailed and told me that she had one just like it. She was going to take it out of the cabinet and send Granny the cabinet for her machine. But by that time my uncle had found Granny a cabinet for hers. I mentioned to Michelle that I had always wanted a sewing machine in a cabinet. Well need I say more......................
Is this not gorgeous?? Michelle went out of her way to send me a video and show me the stitches this machine does. Then she offered me a deal that I could not refuse!!! So now I have a machine just like Grannys in a cabinet!

Along with this awesome machine she sent me gifts. The box has all of the discs and attachments for the machine. Do you see the stand with the thread on it? This is a thread holder that she made for me out of a coffee mug stand. It holds the big cones of thread. At the top it has a hook/eye that you put the thread through and stand it next to your machine and thread it as you would normally. You get to use the big cones of thread so when sewing you never run out of thread. Is that not something?? Then the little plastic bag has four autumn coasters in it. I thought it was fabric. Michelle told me that these are called Criss Cross Coasters and are easy to make. I love them! I told her that I felt like this was Christmas!!! I forgot to tell you that she even packed this machine in the neatest suitcase. I forgot to take a picture of it. My husband said he had never saw me this excited. I can't wait to sit down and play with my machine but it will be this weekend before I can. Michelle & her husband sell sewing machines when they have them, so if you are in the market for a good machine you need to contact her before buying. She told me that this Singer 401A like Grannys is a very popular machine.
It is in excellent condition.
All I can say is THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart from me & from Granny.

I LOVE MY SEWING MACHINE!
THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone that has sent cards and gifts for Granny.
She is getting spoiled. There will be many more posts about her birthday cards and gifts. I am going over there today to take her more from all of YOU.
I just give her a little at a time so she can enjoy it all.

Those covers are lovely! I love that Granny uses sheets to back her quilts, so do I - I pick them up at the thrift store, usually vintage sheets that are in excellent condition.
Michelle is an absolute angel. May God richly bless her for her giving heart!
