Christmas Decorations Or Wedding Stuff?

No, this is not Christmas presents. Maranda worked on her bridal party gifts tonight.
She is so neat and organized.

This is my pile for the rehearsal dinner. We have to do it a couple of days earlier than the wedding because the Hall already had a party reserved the night before. Nevertheless, this is all ready to be packed in the car and took the day of the rehearsal dinner. Believe this or not, it really is all organized. It may not look like it but it is.

This is what my dining room table looks like right now.
Wedding, Wedding, Wedding!

More Wedding stuff!
One of my best friends is also a great wedding coordinator and she will be in charge of the wedding so she will be picking this up to add to all of the other things soon.
Now you see why I can't put up Christmas Decorations this year!
We are actually leaving after the wedding to go off for a few days so we will not even be here.
My daughter Shannon is hosting our Family Christmas party this year once we all get home so we will enjoy her Christmas tree and decorations.

I did accomplish something besides wedding things today. I am in charge of making Chicken Enchiladas for our family Christmas party and since we will be out of town I wanted to have them put together, frozen, and ready to cook when we come home from our trip.

I also made this! Can you guess what it is?

*****************
So, as you can see there will be no Christmas decorations in my house this year but that is no problem. My family is so blessed. I have been married to the most wonderful man for 31 years and we have 4 grown children. We are very proud of our 4 grandchildren. We have 2 wonderful son in laws and will be adding another son in law this coming Saturday. We are blessed with our mothers and my dad in our lives. I have my 2 sisters and sweet honey has a brother and all of their families are in our lives. And of course, I can't forget my 96 year old Quilting Granny. Who could ask for more? Thank you Lord.

Oh my, but you have a lot going on right now, Val. It must all be so exciting. I wouldn't be putting up decorations either. My folks were married on Dec. 26th (many years ago) and I always wondered why anyone would get married at Christmastime. There is so much going on.

I give up....WHAT is it that you are making there????????

WOW I would be in wedding shock - so many things to think of! But you will be fine, I'm praying everything goes off without a hitch and that you have peace in the midst of the [glorious] storm. What in the world ARE you making?

I always thought a wedding at Christmas time would be so fun and pretty!

So, are you busy enough right now or can you squeeze in few more activities? :)

I hope everything goes off smoothly.
