The Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today, March 2, 2010 from my journal:

Outside my window................it is snowing. It is the prettiest snow we have had this year.
I am thinking...................about where I would be without my Lord.
I am thankful..................for food to eat and a roof over my head.
I am wearing...................a green jogging suit.
I am remembering................when I was young and we had a snow day my Mom always had us hot chocolate waiting after we played outside.
I am going....................to relax and go to bed.
I am currently reading..............blogs!
I am hoping.................for my whole family to be safe and happy.
On my mind................things that I cannot do anything about.
Noticing that...............everyone has a story and goes through trials.
I am creating..............nothing at the moment but lots on my list in my mind.
Pondering these words.........This Too Shall Pass.
From the kitchen...................Pork Roast, Corn on the cob, Spinach, Homemade Bread.
Around the house..................there was lots of laughter and playing today at my house. We had 3 of our grandchildren today.
One of my favorite things................Peace.
I am wishing......................for the best.
I am praying......................for HIS will.
From my picture journal.................Sweet teen, Angel, & Brother making a snowman!

This was a beautiful snow, with not much of a traffic problem this time, thank the Lord!
This too shall pass has been our hope for many trials, and this, also, will pass. You are right, what would we do without our Lord!

Ah.....somedays are harder than others, but.....we always need to remember that the tough times will pass and He gives us the strength we need. Love the photos of the grandkids and loved everything you were cooking EXCEPT the spinach!!! LOL

Hot chocolate always makes everything better. :-)

The Lord will help you with the problems at hand...perhaps not at the time frame you are expecting though...Love those around you right now.

Supper menu sounds so good...especially the home made bread.

I get so much from your daybook. It surely makes me think of my own life and what I would answer.

"This too shall pass".....I needed to hear that tonight.

Thank you, Val.
