Granny Revisited

The Guestbook at the funeral home shows what a witness to the world Granny was. You can go here to sign it if you haven't already. Her name is Beulah Gribble. I am amazed at the Granny Fans & bloggers that loved her so. If you want a blessing, go view it. I sure got one. Thank you.

Enjoy this video from Granny! Just click the arrow button.

This video is from Sept. of last year.(forgive my voice- this was our first video with Granny). I remember asking Granny if she would like to thank the bloggers for buying her quilts. She was so funny and asked me, "Do I talk to that picture taker?" I said, just talk to me Granny. At that time she talks of making baby quilts. I actually suggested it to give her a rest but she made 2 and went back to the bigger quilts. That was her love. You will also hear about Grannys first love in this video. The Lord is what she completely depended on. He is her first love. She told me over and over that everytime I sold a quilt for her that it made her want to get up and get going in the morning. It gave her hope!

So, from Granny and me.....we thank you.

I remember this video too. She was a wonderful woman. I am so happy that she got to make all those quilts for so many people, I know it made her so happy to do so. I am thrilled to be the owner of 2 of them and will always treasure them. I am tickled that I got to know her and love the friendship that you and I have formed. I know you will miss her forever, we all will, but I love thinking of her in Heaven!

I also recall that video. She surely was a special lady and I'm thinking her granddaughter is cut from the same mold (and that would be YOU, my dear).

I love that video!! She loved her quilting! and you sound just like me in that video!! I was always going to buy one of Granny's quilts (they went fast)but put it off! Lesson learned. In her video Granny says she wants to be ready when the Lord comes...that is a nice reminder not to put off what needs to be done, what needs to be put right!! Thank You Granny!

Oh it is good to hear her sweet voice again! What a saint of God she was, and she is now living with Jesus, which was her main goal in life.

Val thank you for sharing, for giving us a glimpse into your life. What a blessing Ms.Beulah was to all who knew her. Seeing her, hearing her, on this video made me think so much of her Mother, Grandma Teasley. I remember as a young girl going to visit her. She always had a pile of quilts she was working on too. I was just a step-granddaughter, but she took me in her arms and loved me as if I was blood. My precious uncle Dewitt sang at her funeral, although he too is growing weaker with time. Funny how our family has enterwined all of my life. I can't believe that you and I have yet to meet. Maybe someday we can get together and reminisce. Your Grandmother was a precious person and my sister in law, Cindy , told me this week that Beulah was her first Sunday School teacher, who always acknowledged her, remembering her name, even these last few Sundays. The mark of a Godly woman is how brightly her light shines, leading others out of the darkness. If you look carefully you can see Granny's bright light off in the distance still shining its way into eternity.

Valerie...You have something so precious...Your grannys voice on tape...Now anytime you want to hear her voice, all you have to do is play this. I also watched the tribute video and I cried all the way through it. I have that same tulip quilt in my closet! I told you our grannys were so much alike! :)
