I love being a part of this every Friday. It is so much fun. If you would like to see more visit Tootsie's Blog!
The picture does not do it justice.
Now this is my favorite. It spreads every year.
I don't have a clue what it is called.
Is this not gorgeous?
They brought us several plants and gave them to us.
This is a hydrangea and they gave us this plant in honor of my little Granny.
I can not tell you how much this plant means to me.
They also brought us the sweetest card.
I love it.
My Granny plant.
I love them.
Our best friends.
I went to my daughter (Shannon's) house the other day to get the grands and noticed this beautiful hydrangea at the side of their house. I mentioned it to her and her hubby and told them how pretty it was. My daughter was so funny. She said, "Oh really, there are flowers on the side of my house?" She is just not old enough to appreciate it yet or it could be that she works so much that she doesn't see the outside of her house much. She is a very hard worker. I thought that was too cute! My SIL knew it was there. I am sure he is the one that takes care of it. It is very pretty.
I just had to show you this. This was at a house that I was working at. It is huge and I just had to flaunt it even though it is not mine!
Did you know that a snowball bush and a hydrangea are not the same?

My BFF told me that. People get them confused. Interesting, huh?
I need to learn more about this.
This is just starting to bloom. The blooms are beautiful. The picture does not do it justice.

I took this picture looking straight down inside that bloom. It has different colors through it. This was took right after a rain. I am so thankful we are getting some rain.

You're right, that last flower is gorgeous. :-)
Very nice....looks like Mophead Hydrangeas and your last flower is a Calla Lily...beautiful!
I love your hydrangeas. I had one at our last place but don't have one here. All your flowers look so pretty. It's obvious they get lots of love and attention from you.
I have two hydrangeas blooming right now. They are gorgeous! Thank goodness that horrible winter is over so we can enjoy our flowers finally!
Breathtaking!!! So so pretty ----they all are. I just may have to begin this Friday meme as I love flowers so much. I must confess, I have a green thumb...well, a lightly shaded green that is, but the thumb turns brown inside my home. I can't get a plant to thrive inside to save my soul. I blame it on the house. LOLOLOL
I really enjoyed this post.
Loved the flowers...your mystery plant reminds me of a "jack in the pulpit"...but could be a calla lily as Darla mentioned....I have not grown either - so not an expert at all...just enjoy the beauty.
Have a great weekend!
I think the calla lily are so pretty, my hydrangeas are in bloom now, they do make a very pretty flowering bush. Thanks for showing us the flowers and thanks for you comment on my blog, you are right the garden can kept one busy,. you have a great day!

The hydrangea is doing so well. In our neck of the woods, they grow pink unless you add a special coloring fertilizer. I hear the color depends on the acidity of the soil.
The gardenia is gorgeous! Does it smell heavenly as well?
I think the last one is a calla lily. They are wonderful to see each year, aren't they?
Thanks for stoppin' by for a Latte'. Your hydrangeas are BEAUTIFUL!!! My parents have a big one like yours that just overflows with blossums each year. Mine are pretty little, but hopefully someday they will be jsut as big. Happy Gardening!
Love the prayer on your header. Your hydrangea and callalily are beautiful. Friends are such a blessing aren't they?
That is a gorgeous calla lily!
Isn't it wonderful when flowers start to bloom and add so much needed colour to the world?:-) Your hydrangea is beautiful and what a lovely idea your friend had to give it to you in honour of Granny. Very special indeed!! I have two hydrangea plants, one blue and one white which are really starting to grow now. Won't be long and they'll have blooms on them. Your Calla Lily is also gorgeous. We can't grow those outside over here as they don't like our weather! lol xoxo
Oh, I do think we need to talk! I love your blog and your hydrangeas, are like our youngest daughter's! She lives in the area of John's Creek, in Alpharetta!
