How sweet! We have a small pond near us and occasionally we see the ducks there with their babies.
You just made my day! Hilarious!
The miracle of life, even in animals, never ceases to leave me in awe:-) How wonderful that you were able to keep a close eye on the eggs and even managed to get pictures of the first one hatching. I don't blame you for not getting too close when papa Goose was around, though! lol Such a shame that one didn't make it but the other 4 are so precious. xoxo
Oh what a darling post! We got to see some babies today too - they're just too cute!
Very sweet pictures. I continue to pray for you Val.
This put a smile on my face and a tear (over the sweetness of it) in my eye. I'm going to add this post to favorites so I can look at it over and over again. Thank you! Toni
Cute story, Val!
So neat that you captured it all with your camera. Love the one with the eggs cracking open. Thanks for sharing.
Loved your post. You are so silly.
I love Canada Geese...how cool that you captured the eggs and babies! Aah, 'picture taker' Granny's term, sweet.
That is just the cutest post. It put a smile on my face. The narration was inventive and funny. Good job, Valerie.
How fun to watch their progress. Too bad they left already.
Val, nature is so pretty, if we just take the time to enjoy it. Thanks for sharing with us today.
They say a picture is worth more than a thousand words- I love it!
They were so blessed to be able to have your pond for their "birthing".
Wonderful post! I love all things wildlife and those pictures are just spectacular as is the dialog! I love watching the baby ducks and loons when we are at the lake. One year one kind of duck had 16!!! Yikes~~~
Thank you for the e-mail and yes I love people to leave comments as I print everything off and it's fun to have those comments to read. xoxoxo
That's so sweet!! You are lucky you live where nothing will kill them. If I had ducks on my pond, some critter or another would kill them all. We had a Blue Heron on our pond and something killed it. It was nesting and laying eggs. I was so sad! We have every predator imaginable out here. I just hate it because you have to be so careful with your farm animals.
You are blessed to have that sweet little goose family on your property!
