| One thing "Sweet Hunter" and I wanted to do in this life is to redo a farmhouse. When we sold our house (see last post), we looked at several places including this one. We could not get it out of our mind. The original part of the farmhouse was built in 1887. |

| It has over 1400 ft. of river frontage on 49 acres! |

| We started looking at this house and land the end of Feb. We tried to like other houses but this one kept coming up. |

| Remember my kitchen I had in my other home? (see last post). Well, this is no where near it. We went to look at inside of house after riding by several times. |

| I LOVED the 3 old fireplaces but I did not like the chopped up rooms. |

| We walked away and said this just would not work. We looked and looked and kept ending up here on the river! |

| We LOVED the river but not the inside of the house. |

| We loved the land, but not the inside of the house. |
 |
| We decided to make a very low offer. So we went back and forth for weeks. |

| It even only has one bathroom!!!!! And its blue!!!! Blue bathtub, blue sink, and blue commode! |

| Then I saw this. A tire swing. |

Then we saw this. |

| And this did it for me!!! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!  There is so much to tell about this story. I really don't know where to begin. So I began with what we saw. Oh my! We are in love! I found you when I googled syskrin and came upon your post from years back regarding that awesome sewing cabinet your friend found. I have a syskrin similar to the one you show but mine has legs and I've had it for YEARS! I'm looking forward to your progress on your new home.
Great story - can't wait to see the before and afters. Sounds like a marvelous adventure ahead.
