Life

I asked "Sweet Hunter" last night......
How did we get here?
He said, Life.
And he's so right.
You never know from day to day
what is going to happen.
I would have never thought in my wildest days
that "Sweet Angel" would be here.
Bless her heart.
She is in the hospital.
Her parents had to call 911 Monday and
from there she was admitted to the hospital.
She has been diagnosed with Gastropresis
with underlying issues.
We don't have answers to those yet.
Right now, we have to get nourishment in her.
She hasn't ate since Christmas night except a few bites
that we forced her to eat.
We are trusting and believing for a miracle.
While she is at the hospital, Brother is with us.
"Sweet Hunter" gets him up, gets him ready,
feeds him, takes him to school
and picks him up from school.

This boy keeps us laughing!
You should hear some of the conversations
with him and his "POPS"
Please keep praying for his sister!
We need her back!
******************
Our Pastor came by the hospital today and he texted me
this verse after he left.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my
righteousness.

Dear Val, Alyssa is on my heart throughout the day, as you all are. I continue to pray and have asked my blog friends to join with us in praying for Alyssa by linking your post to my blog tonight. I love you.

Dear Val, I've had your precious granddaughter Alyssa and you on my mind all day long and I've said many prayers for her and for the family and caregivers. I'm glad you were able to write about her tonight so we have a bit more information. I'm sure that each minute and each hour seem too long as you wait for more help and more information and for more healing results. I've never heard of that diagnosis so I will try to do some reading to learn about it. I wish I were there to give you a physical hug but I know with all your loving friends and family you are receiving many of them already. Please remember to care for yourself as you are caring for others. Sending this with love to you, Connie xo xo xo

I'm here from Mildred's blog. Praying here!
Here's another verse from Isaiah that I think is so comforting:
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2

I am coming here from Mildred's blog and wanted to tell you that we are praying for your granddaughter. May God grant each of you peace and give the doctors wisdom.

I have used that verse many times in the past to get through traumatic events. prayers for the doctors and your granddaughter. I looked up the disease and after reading it, want to share my brothers story to show there is hope. I see this is a rare disease. 1 year 3 months ago my brother was diagnosed with a rare disease, a type of marrow cancer that only 1 in 3 million gets. they said the treatment would not cure but would only extend his life by a few years. he is now in total remission and the cancer is not there... his is a story of hope and miracles and I pray now that God give a miracle for this sweet girl.

Sorry to hear of your Sweet Angel's struggle, praying for her complete healing. Isaiah 41:10 is my 'go-to' scripture, I have prayed it many time in my own life.

I came over from Mildred's blog. Your granddaughter is in my prayers. I have a 12 year old grandgirl that suffers from intestinal issues, too, and misses a lot of school. She has had every test they can think of and they still can't figure out what is going on with her. She looks and acts healthy but is just so thin. It is awful when our kids are sick. God bless her and your whole family. xo Diana

I have used God's herbals as much as I could through half of my life (after I discovered it in young adulthood)Plus , I am using 90% of holistic help with any problem I have -my Heavenly Father finds help for me. I still know God gave the doctors the knowledge to help us -my only problem is that the drug companies push their meds too hard sometimes. So, I do the best I can in both worlds. I just pray that you guys will find the perfect solution to help your precious angel. Sending love.
