Our Valentines Day 2020

I remember a time when we couldn't even think of buying a card for each other.
We had 4 children and they came first.
Just to buy their Valentine's cards for school was major!
Do they even do that anymore?
Our 5 year old bought several teachers, along with his Aunt Trissy, and his little girlfriend, bouquets of flowers!
It was all his idea! So sweet!
I sure am glad ours only did the little cards for their classmates!
(smile)
Now it's just the two of us!
We like that pretty good.
Love our kiddos, but never got to do this while raising kids.
I fixed a beautiful salad. (or I think so. I love salad.)
I bought Ribeye's but it was way too cold to cook outside!
I marinated them in Dales Steak Seasoning.
So Sweet Hunter cooked them inside on the grill!
They were delicious!
I made loaded baked potatoes!
We split a steak and saved the other one for fajitas!
I didn't even fix bread!
This is "our place" to eat!
I know a family table is important but
with just us, we love a fire and t.v. trays and our love seat!!!
(giggle)

Dessert was chess squares!
I will put the recipe on my cooking blog soon!
Well, this was our Valentines Day!
We loved it!

Sounds like a perfect Valentines Day! We had a supper at church, the youth served us. They had delicious prime rib - so fun!
