Every night after a day of fishing in Helen Ga., we would meet our best buds and play Canasta. We give in!!! The guys are the best. There is a reason that us girls (women) only won 1 Canasta game the whole week!!!

Why do men not have to go through this hot and cold stuff? Its just not fair!! But we have to admit our sweet hubby's really do know how to play cards!!! We had so much fun! We can't wait until next year!

Sounds like the best of times, I'm glad for your getaway! I'm the one that's melting, too, not fun, unless it's winter.
Next time Valerie partner up with opposite DH's. But it is only a game after all and as long as you are having fun it does not matter.

Oh man, you guys need to be practicing.....you need to win! Too funny about one of you freezing and the other one fanning...I can so relate.
Me and my son play Canasta sometimes and he has never yet won. I always win! I laugh and say, "I am the MASTA of CANASTA!!" which means, the master of canasta...but it sounds better when you say "The MASTA" :0)

I used to have the problem of freezing, while my husband was burning up all the time. Now it's completely reversed! Glad you had such a wonderful time!
