| Here are the ingredients for the cracker recipe. 1 1/2 cup of Canola oil Box of crackers Package of Ranch dressing mix 1 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes |

| The sweet lady that shared this recipe at the crochet class said that she uses a pickle jar. I didn't have one but used what I had. |

| Mix oil, red pepper flakes, & ranch dressing mix together. |

| Then pour over crackers. |
 |
| Turn your jar on the side and then every 30 minutes or so turn a different way. Up, upside down, sideways, etc. This is so the oil distrubutes evenly. |

| I let mine sit in the jar with the oil overnight. Then I removed the crackers and put in another jar. You would think the crackers would be soft and oily but they are crisp and dry. |

| The crackers are delicious! Next time I will add a little more red pepper. Crackers with a twist! |

| I served this layered salad with the crackers one night when we had friends over. They loved them as much as we did. |

I've seen that done with oyster crackers but never regular saltines. I'll have to give it a try. Now, can you share the layered dip recipe? pretty please?

Val I've made those crackers several times and we love them too. I use a rubbermaid type container with a tight fitting lid and that works great. I love your crocheted dish cloth. I'm going to bookmark that pattern so one of these cold winter days I can give it a try. blessings, marlene

I saw a pattern for this one online. I've decided to make dish cloths for my club members for Christmas. I'm the President this year and the next two years it looks like. We have around 25 members. I've made 10 so far. I have been doing most of them in the Granny Square pattern. It seems to be the quickest for me. I love the variegated thread.

Oh I love that dishcloth! You have about convinced me to try crocheting again! I haven't done any crocheting since my wonderful Mother used to try to teach me.
