Have you ever heard of a Cuddle Cocoon? Well I hadn't until I went to my crochet class and saw a lady crocheting one. |
That was not the one I wanted to make for her so I had her one more gift!!! |
This is the one I intended to make first so after that last one I got busy on this one! |
I think she loves it!! |
This truly is a gift of love from me to May May! |
So she now has two! One can be used for a boy or girl but my favorite is the one for a girl!!! See the picture frame? That is her ultrasound pictures of the baby! |
The first one I made was really pretty but you could not get a baby in it. So I had this yarn with me and started this one and it turned out pretty. |

Val, I love those Cuddle Cocoons. That's a new one for me. Never seen one of those before. Where did you find that pattern? That would be a perfect shower gift to keep on hand. May May looks well pleased with the gift from her talented Mom. Will keep you and your mister in my prayers tomorrow. Good luck.

Very cute Val. I've never seen a cuddle cocoon before. I'm sure your daughter will enjoy wrapping the baby in it.
Oh, make me one!! LOL! Is there a knitting pattern for one in that book? If so, could you print it out and mail it to me? I would love to make my baby one. Thanks!
I can just see a darling baby all comfy in one of those cuddle cocoons. They are truly adorable. You are getting so good at crocheting! Good for you! You did it!
Thinking of you and hubby tonight......
Oh my gosh look how far you've come, Val - that is just gorgeous!!! I've not heard of these before. I love the flowers around the edge!!!!
Those are darling. I have never heard of them before. Did you get your book from Hobby Lobby? I sure would like to make some of those for gifts.
Your May May looks so pleased. She is a beautiful lady. She must have taken her good looks from her mother.
The cuddle Cocoons are the best for cold evenings. Yours looks perfect, Val. :-)
Those are the sweetest things!! I still can't get over how beautiful MayMay is!!
Very nice! I know crocheting really helps pass the time and keeps your mind off other things too. It's so nice you love to crochet. Your gifts are lovely.
I am loving the things you are making out of yarn and a crochet needle!! Keep on stitching, girl.
Oh Val....how cute!!!! I love the idea and you did a beautiful job on them.
So beautiful! I have never seen these before but what a great idea. Most babies love to be cuddled and most moms and grandmas love to cuddle ... perfect combination!
