Granny Making Apple Butter

When Granny cooks a lot of something this is the pan she uses.
On this day it was full of apple butter.
Does she not just make you want to hug her?
Have I told you that I love my Granny?

Granny says: "just a little more cooking".

And now the apple butter is all ready and in jars.
It is delicious!!!
* I received another birthday card & a package today for Granny. I will be taking these to her tomorrow. I can't wait to see what is in the package for her! She is gonna love it!

Looks really yummy! I've never made apple butter - would you share the recipe? I've been following your blog for a while and have enjoyed sharing your family moments. Bless you!

When you go to Granny's tomorrow, could you put some of her energy into a couple of those empty jars and send them to me? I sure could use some of her energy. She makes me ashamed of myself!

Does Granny sell her Apple Butter? I love apple butter and would love to buy some. Make sure you get her recipe too. Nothing better then having those treasured recipes. I have quite a few from my great great grandmother. Her pineapple cookie recipe is delicious.

Oh my gosh my paternal GM made apple butter too. I still have one of her jars although she's been gone since 1987. Well never open it or eat it but I love opening the refrig and seeing in there ... it's like she's still here.
