We got up early one morning and unloaded the golf cart and went riding down to check our trail cameras. |
"Sweet Hunter" takes the camera cards out and replaces the cards and the batteries. Then we go in the Hilton and check the pictures out. |
We saw more deer than we had ever seen here but by the time I got the camera out and focused they would run away. |
One day we brought our golf cart on some other hunting land that "Sweet Hunter" hunts on. I think it is about 600 acres. |
We saw lots of deer tracks. These were huge. Can you see them? |
The golf cart can't go over logs like a 4 wheeler but it sure is nice to ride in as long as you stay on a little road or trail. |
This is a picture off of our trail camera. |
TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR..........Our baby deer!!!

Val, Great pictures.. Love the one from the bridge looking down on the railroad tracks. You are so proud of your baby deer and we have a Mama and Baby who have made their selves at home in Mr. P.'s garden. Only got to put up 10 quarts of beans because they filled their bellies every night. He tried everything to keep them out. Says next year he will have electric fence. We have a chain link one around the back yard but the Mama jumps it. He forgot a few nights and left the gate open so the baby made her way inside also. They are so pretty, but Mr. P. is not to happy right now. He could shoot them as they are eating the garden and it be legal but he would never do that. Even tho he is a hunter, he would not this time of the year . There was a tiny fawn killed in the road on our way to church on Sunday. It was so little. So sad. Hoping you are having a great week.

Rattlesnake?!?!?and you are still walking through that area?
Aww....the little fawn is so sweet. What fun you two have at the Hilton.
Neat!!!...but not the rattlesnake!
Never a dull moment at the Hilton!
I love all the pictures. I'm green with envy over your little Tracker. I've been wanting one for years and that blue is just my color. Have a blessed day.
Sounds like a fun time out in the woods finding all sorts of critters. I'm not much of a woodsy person myself but admire nature from afar.
